external image 2-SandwichSwap_large.jpgThe "Sandwich Swap" is a book that is close to Jordanian's hearts not only because it highlights a common local food but also it was written by their own Queen Rania Al Abdulla with Kelly DiPucchio and Illustrator, Tricia Tusa. It has an important message about cultural tolerance and acceptance that is woven around a fun story concerning two friends and their lunch sandwiches.

Here are a few reviews of the book from which you'll realize how succinctly this book captures the spirit of what we're doing in the Lunchbox Project:

Hopefully, we can get a few "unofficial" translations of the book completed on Dotsub once I put up the readaloud video. To make things easier, I've shared a google doc. containing the book's text - If you want to provide a translation within the Google Doc. I'll give you editing access to the document.
